    How about helping me decide if it's worth the thousands of dollars to go and get my lap-band adjusted to work correctly? :)

    That is a toughie. If you have the $$ and won't struggle w.o it then I would do it. However, if the lap-band is causing health issues then of course you should have it adjusted. I really don't know anything about the procedure or medical things. If it was me, and my lap-band procedure had complications...I'd be talking to the doctors and/or lawyers.
