Hi:

I'm a WW On Line, member; I'm in week 6 of the program.

I'm going to try this site, also. I really like how easy it is to use and add foods to the diary.

Interesting to see how calories and WW Points compare, and we cant have too much help and support, eh?

  • I started my journey with WW and lost 50 pounds. I became bored with the program and switched to MFP. I have to say I love this sight and all it offers. Best wishes to you on your path!!

welcome!!! I followed the weight watchers plan for several years and did well with it. I am a lifetime member and stopped going to meetings about a year ago, but I still did the online program up until 1 month ago. When the new points plus program came out, I actually ended up gaining a few pounds so I stopped that and came here. Best of luck to you!!!

Hi, I have done WW in the past and lost weight and more recently i have done Slimming World and not lost much at all, calorie counting is the plan for me as I have lost 10lbs in 2 weeks
I do eat a lot of weightwatcher meals as part of my daily routine and just bulk them out with veg.

Welcome to the site and feel free to add me as a friend.

Hey All! Last year I did WW and lost about 30 lbs. But, once I reached goal, I started eating "normally" again and gained it back, and couldn't afford to stay with WW. So, here I am at MFP, and I LOVE it so far. Please add me and we can support each other and appreciate each others former/current WW perspective.

I also lost 50lbs on WW before I came to MFP. WW is great and the greater thing is on MFP you dont just watch your calories but you can watch your sugar and salt intake..So its good to use both at the same time that way you can make sure the stuff you choose to eat on WW is healthier for your body, too many frozen smart ones and too many 1pt soups you will see are very high in sodium so try to limit the frozen and packaged ww foods to one a day or so and then try as much to eat fresh meals and u may even notice you will have more points to go around when you do that. Welcome to MFP it takes a while to get used to, Im sure you will have lots of questions in your first couple weeks but everyone is great at helpig on here.

I tried WW also I lost around 15lbs but became discouraged so quit everything. I heard from a friend that this site was wonderful. Just started today but love how easy it is for me find my way around on it. I am a mom of 3 children, I do daycare out of my home. I am pretty busy most days but just can't seem to keep the weight off. It slowly finds its way back to me. I turned 40 in january and decided I don't want to be fat any more. They say your life starts now so I decided I better look my best to do it. I want to be around a long time for my children, my youngest is 3. I have loved all the post of encouragment look forward to making some friends with the same goals, feeling good about ourselves. Being a daycare provider I'm not out in the work world so this is my place for social life. :flowerforyou:
