Ok I think I got it :)

Ok. I think I finally got it. I started seriously working out and eating healthier on January 9th, 2011. From then until last week I had only lost one pound. I know that we shouldn't be fixated on the scale, but in the 6 weeks I was working out and following MFP's recommended daily calories, I was not seeing any results.
So, after consulting with one of my fitness "guru" friends, reading a TON of info, I came to this conclusion:
I was overtraining and not eating enough of the right foods at the right times. With that info in hand, I changed my workout schedule and my eating....and I lost 2 lbs since last week!!!!!!
I just thought I'd share because I am most sure that I am not the only one who has faithfully committed to a program and then been discouraged with lack of results.
Good luck to you all!

Here are just a few things I found to help sort out all the BS you hear...do this, don't do this...yada yada. Anyway, I suppose it is whatever works for you, so I am not recommending or endorsing anything, just stating these helped me.
Enjoy.
