Weight loss help!

Hi! I started MFP Feb 12 and since then, I have really only seen 6oz of loss weight wise and 1inch around my waist. I know the waist part is good, but I'm just disappointed I haven't lost more weight. I am eating better than ever, drinking 8cups of water and doing 40min of TaeBo a day and at least a 20min walk everyday of the week!
I was hoping maybe someone could give me pointers on different exercises or foods I can eat to help my weight loss, or let me know if this is perfectly normal. I just had a baby 3months ago and wasn't very active before then, and a friend thinks I'm just building muscle, but it's still disappointing to not see the scale going down:(
