Hello from Dorset

Hi, I'm Tom from Dorset, in the UK. I've started to take my fitness and weight loss seriously over the past couple of months and joined MFP a week ago on the recommendation of a friend. I've always been overweight and have struggled to get on top of it. I've got about 40kg to lose and have lost about 5kg since the new year. There's still a long way to go but hopefully with a little work and dedication i'll get there this time!

    You have done the best thing by joining this site - it is so useful and the MFP members are so helpful :smile:

    Sounds like your doing well with your weight loss journey - I have a smilar amount to lose so maybe we could keep each other going?

    You're going to love this site. I've used other calorie counting sites before but for some reason this site has really made me dedicated to losing weight.

    I started off with about 40kgs to lose and I'm down nearly 7kg. Most of that was before I joined MFP but since joining the rate of weight loss has more than doubled!
