I never really thought about Vitamins - but the doctor said I should be taking Iron, Zinc and Glucosamine Sulphate/ Chondroitin
for my training of running ... and I was there I found some REALLY interesting benefits to some vitamins, what do you think ?

Zinc - helps metabolize protiens/cabohydrates/fats,proper functioning of immune system, digestion, control of diabetes, improves stress level, energy metabolism, acne and wounds healing

Glucosamine Sulphate, Glucosamine Chondroitin - Helps maintain healthy cartilage, ligaments and tendons / Promotes elasticity in the invertebral discs / has a Protective effect against joint destruction

Iron - The health benefits of iron correspond to proper growth of human body and maintaining robust health. It is an essential protein component for metabolism.

I picked these up today because my doctor said it would assist in not having joint pains associated to my half marathon training! Please please share what you're taking and the benefits

I did see Cayane pills there ... I have a friend who says a good weighloss tip/tool is to have lots and lots of cayane!

I take a multivitamin, B100 complex, super enzymes, thyromedica plus, 1000mg magnesium, 1000mg C and 2 fish oil capsules.
I was having a good bit of up and down emotion stuff, and I read about Niacin, so I started on the b100.
C, for my immune system (I can't remember the last time I got sick).
Super enzymes keep my gallbladder working, so tons less gas bloating.
    Magnesium helps keep me "regular"
I'm vegetarian, but I take fish oil. Just great for you, and I don't get it from fish, so.
Multivitamin, well, take it cause you just should haha.

I take Women one a day, but I cut it in half and take one half in the morning and one half at night. This helps me get the vitamins 24 hours. =]

Jezuz I just had to look up health benefits of Fish Oil (never heard of people taking it ... First Paragraph

The health benefits of fish oil include its ability to aid in treatment of heart diseases, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, AHDH, low immunity, cancer, diabetes, inflammation, arthritis, IBD, AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, eye disorders, macular degeneration and ulcers. It is helps in weight loss, pregnancy, fertility and skin care (particular for disorders such as psoriasis, acne).

I'm taking niacin daily on Dr.'s order. She wants me taking fish oil but I'm using 2 Tablespoons of flax seeds regularly with gets me 2800 mg of omega 3(which is close to her requested amount). I also take Slow Fe iron supplements because I do run mildly anemic. I take probiotics(acidophilus) sometimes but really only when I feel I need them. I used to take them often because I was getting chronic ear infections. EVERY month I was getting one and a new antibiotic but since I've not been on one in a long while I don't take them unless I get bowel issues which is rare for me because I eat lots of fiber.

I'd take a multi but the iron in them makes me sick. I do fine with the Slow Fe and try to take them alternating days unless I'm feeling low.

I am thinking of trying out the joint care stuff because I already have spots in my knees and wrists where fluid builds up. Had one cyst on my wrist drained it came back. I opt'd away from the surgery because he said it can come back after that too. It comes and goes on its own now. Very weird.

I use curry supposed to be great for you. As well as cayenne often. But not supplements only the spices used in cooking.

    Right now I just take a Men's One-A-Day. When I remember (which is 4-5 times a week).
