So I am pretty close to my goal weight..although I still have a tummy :( I am doing P90x and just started the second phase so I'm hoping that will help that area. My problem is that I have skinny legs...I always have..even with both pregnancies my belly grew but my legs stayed skinny. I would love to have thick sexy legs. P90x has already helped lean my legs and I can see the difference but I can't imagine it would add a whole lot of noticeable muscle. Any tips?

squat and deadlift :) as heavy as possible. 3 sets of 8 reps. When you can do all reps, add another 5lbs. To create muscle you need to eat at least at maintenance level as well not at a deficit.

For sure squats..... as much as they hurt (and get trained properly or they will hurt in the bad way), they are your best bet. I'd throw in walking lunges into the mix, but they also hurt after a few days :) Good luck
  • Kettlebell, if you can find a trainer. If not - squats, lunges, side lunges.... And I agree with the earlier post - if you are going to build muscle you'll need to tweak your eating; more protien, less carbs, and no deficit.

you need carbs to build muscle as well :) I find KB's are great for glutes but not so much quads or hammies. Stiff leg deadlifts will really hit the hammies and front squats hit the quads more than back squats.
