Hi! It has been great to get to use this site. I recently went to the doctor about back issues, but he continued to tell me that I also need to lose weight to lessen the strain it has on my back. I had already been planning to lose the recent weight gained in college, but also to lose about 35 more after that. So I searched for calorie counters on my phone and myfitnesspal was the best I saw! However, it's hard to find which kinds of exercises are easy on a hurt back besides just walking around campus.

You should probably actually do back exercises (in order to strengthen the supporting muscles whilst also reducing their load by burning fat), just very low intensity and taking it slowly.
You might want to ask your doctor about how you should start, though.0 -
upper back or lower back issues?
I use a weight belt to help protect my back! Listen to your body...when it hurts...STOP0 -
Lower back.
I've been too scared to do anything other than walking, but I'd really like to do more.0
