Baby Steps...

I joined MFP about 2 weeks ago and haven't lost a pound since :( I have lost 7 pounds since New Year's...it's a little slow but I'm getting there. Anyhow...since I haven't lost anything...I was getting discouraged...but when I measured myself this morning..I am down half an inch on my waist and half an inch on my stomach...YA!!!

I also joined a gym in the New Year and when I started on the treadmill I could only run at 6km an hour. At that rate my heart rate was high and I felt like I was crawling along compared to everyone around me. I am now running at 7km an hour and for 30 minutes straight....so little by little I'm getting there.

I guess my point is....never get discouraged...even though you may not see it on the scales...what you're doing IS WORKING!!!!
