Today I ran for 20 minutes solid! I'm on week 5 day 3 of C25k and I never thought I'd make it. Woo hoo!

    Such a good feeling huh!!
Last week one time I ran for 30 minutes, I seriously teared up when I realized I made my goal!!!! I thought, oh my gosh, do not start crying at the gym on the treadmill!!!!!!!! ofcourse my hips hurt so bad I could hardly walk for the next to days, so I'm now not forcing myself to try that again yet.... I'm gonna let that happen naturally next time!!!! lol
Congrats and keep up the great work!!!!!:flowerforyou:

    HI. What is C25k?
  • Congratulations that's awesome!
I got into running through C25K a couple of years ago; you'll be running past me in half-marathons in no time!
Keep up the brilliant work.

Congratulations! That is very inspiring to me as I just started that program as well. I am on day 3 of week 2 (tomorrow). Love it so far, but I just have to learn to breathe correctly. Keep up the great work!

Great job! I just finished week 5 and was also super thrilled to be able to run that long! Remember when 2 minutes was pushing it?!? :-) Keep it up!

    Congrats! It's a great feeling, isn't it?!

I'm also doing C25K. I consider myself in week 7, though I've been doing it for 9 weeks now. I struggled with week 4 because my pace was too fast. Then I struggled again with my 25 minute run on W6D3. The breakdown in W6 was totally mental though, so I spent last week working on those mental barriers! I've now done two 25 minute runs (straight through) and am even increasing my speed a little.

I hope you continue to enjoy the same sense of accomplishment that I feel with each run I complete!

Impressive! great job! I just finished W3D2 today and I was dying! My body does not want me to run for 3 minutes straight! I hope I make it as far as you have :)
