what are some tricks that you use to cut calories in common foods?
When i HAVE to make boxed meals... i leave out the butter completely

Opt for turkey-based meats for less fat and less calories.
I.E.: Turkey Bacon, Turkey Kielbasa, Turkey sausage, etc...0 -
turkey sausage is amazing, as is turkey bacon, i havent tried the keilbasa yet but im sure it would be wonderful as well. any little things like adding turkey instead of beef or pork will deffinately help you out!!0

Try using a lower fat milk in boxed meals like 1% of non fat! You can even use plain soy in most recipies!0

Brummel & Brown Yogurt butter instead of real butter - yum!0

I do the same thing! I also like using olive oil in place of butter (for health reasons, not so much for calories).
If I drink, I almost always mix the alcohol with a flavored water like Crystal Light.0
