ive been working out for months..... 4-5 days a week. cardio, arms, everything.
this morning i was perfectly fine... put on my sports bra to go the the gym and i got the most intense sharp pain the top top right of my back/shoulder. i couldnt move. i slowly laid myself down..... i had someone rub it.... i tried lightly stretching it.. i can barely move at all... the pain is so intense
what could have happened? now that im laying down im feeling dull pain in my right chest.. as well at top right shoulder/back..

I had this happen to me about 6 months ago I could barely move for about 4 days and then it was fine. Use heating pads, take a warm bath and if you can afford it go get a massage. I hope it gets better quick0

That happened to my husband once and come to find out he popped a rib out of place. He had to go see the chiropracter (sp?) and once they popped it in he felt fine. I'm sorry that happened to you!0

Go to your doctor.. It may be a pinched nerve, pulled muscle, but pain that appear that quickly out of nowhere is not good. Call dr or go to urgent care place and get checked out..0

My only suggestion is to not work the same muscles everyday. You really need to work different muscles each day or you can really hurt yourself. Also, remember to stretch whatever muscle you worked. Good luck0

I don't know, but maybe instead of soliciting advice from people who are just concerned about weight loss, you should call your doctor? Go to the er? Get checked out? Sorry to sound harsh, but it could be serious...or it could just be gas.0

sounds like a subluxated rib head~happens to me frequently (I've had 2 major car accidents). Find an extremity chiropractor, (they have DC, CCEP after their name) to have it fixed~MDs can't do it, heat and ice will help the pain, but it really needs to be fixed so you won't have other problems...0 -
I had the same pain once. it ended up being a pinched nerve. Couldn't move. The doc gave me a neck brace, but I was in a lot of pain for a few days and then it just went away. Actually went to a concert and sat there all stiff...not wanting to move.
Feel better!!0 -
More than likely its a spasm of the rhomboids. Ice it, and get someone to rub in between your shoulder blades gently Good luck!0
