Changing Ticker Weights for Encouragement...

I started losing weight with a handwritten food journal and a membership to a gym in 2007. I joined MFP a week ago to recommitt to the food journal and weight loss.
My ticker reflected my weight last week versus this week.... and I've only dropped one pound, and not even sure about that one pound, really. I could have overestimated my weight last week and not have lost a single pound in a week!
Today I updated my ticker to show my original weight in Feb 2007, my current weight, and my goal.
Seeing 28lbs lost instead of 1lb is so much more encouraging!!!!
(and I know it takes time to lose the weight but I can't help being impatient!!!)

Great job on the weight loss!!!
Sometimes we have slow weeks but it will pick up again...
My ticker reflects weight loss from when I started here to but in actuality its more...
I have lost different amounts at a time...
one week I lost 3 then one week I lost 7 then one I lost a pound...
Dont be discouraged! Look at all the weight you have lost so far!0 -
Yup, 28 definitely looks WAY better than 1! I'm sure that'll really help motivate you more!0

In any projecting, it is wonderful to see the big picture instead of the incremental little repairs. So congrats on your 28 lb weight loss and healthy living. Keep up the good work!!!0

To help you feel normal -- if there is such a thing - I only lose a pound a week -- if I am lucky. I lose pretty slowly but that's alright steady she goes....
I wish you nothing but continued success!!:flowerforyou:0
