Claritin-D = No appetite?

I take Claritin D for allergies and notice that when I take it I don't feel hungry. I would never suggest that someone take it for the purpose of losing weight but is there anyone here that takes it for allergies and notices a difference in their appetite?

Yes. It's the decongestant in it. Same with Allegra D, etc.
The old OTC appetite suppressants like Dexatrim used to be basically decongestants too, but the one they used to use was taken off the market.
And you're correct that no one should be taking these medications for weight loss or without a doctor's supervision.0 -
Thanks I wasn't sure if it was my imagination or not! :bigsmile:0
