Whats all the fuzz on this greek yogurt?
What are the benefits of it?
Is it healthier than sour cream?
What other condiments can it substitute?
and if you have recipes please share
Thank you

I eat it because it's not to high on calories (120 for Chobani Vanilla) but a decent amount of protein 16g as well.0

It's not just a condiment! Make it a meal! Higher in protein than regular yogurt; low in sugar too! I've seen it used in place of mayo or in recipes in place of oil/fats.
EDIT TO ADD:
Get non-fat PLAIN greek yogurt = no sugar or crap is added to it. Then you can use that as your base and sweeten how you like (honey, artificial sweeteners, fruit, etc)0 -
Here's a recipe for nonfat tzatziki that I got from someone else on here. It's good!
nonfat tzatziki.. Super easy!
1/2 - 24oz nonfat Greek Yogurt
2-3 mini cucumbers finely chopped. They are seedless and I don't peel them.*
Pinch kosher salt
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Mix it all together and you have tzatziki. Leave in fridge for at least 4 hours to let all the flavors merge and enjoy.0 -

OMG! I love Greek Yogurt and I am positively addicted to it. I get the 0% fat plain Fage Greek Yogurt. I have this for breakfast almost every morning with a 1/2 teaspoon of honey, 1 ounce of plain walnuts and 1/2 ounce of dried cranberries. This breakfast keeps me fueled all morning. I also use greek yogurt to make tzaziki (spelling very bad here) for dipping and to use on gyros. I have been known to subsititute greek yogurt in the place of sour cream like on a baked potato, but I really only do that when I am out of sour cream.0

I buy plain non fat Greek God. . I dole out a serving, add a couple of tablespoons of toasted wheat germ (for crunch and texture), mix in some fake sugar (something supposedly healthy purchased by my lovely bride) and throw in some blueberries and/or strawberries. Occasionally, when I can get them I might use grapes. Makes a decent, healthy dessert.0

It is a good low fat baking substitute. I also make it as a dipping sauce for vegetables or a sandwich spread by adding some lemon juice, chopped garlic, sometimes some tahini paste. I also like to use it to make yogurt marinades for chicken and fish.0
