The nutrient daily goal states 2500mg of sodium. I average only about 1500mg of sodium daily. Is there such a thing as "too little" sodium intake?

They just have a standard recommendation on here. It's not accurate for everyone. In fact, the standard recommendation in the US is <2300 mg or <1500mg if you have high blood pressure or other heart issue. You're doing great if you are averaging 1500mg so keep up the great work!

I just saw a nutritionist today and she said to make sure it's always below 2300mg. But, if I could, she said to try to stay between 1500-1600. (I've been in a plateau for a couple months, and this was one of her suggestions).

My book on low sodium says that most people need a minimum of 500mg of sodium per day.
