NSV- 2 of them!! And first 5K to boot!

First NSV- While working out my workout pants fell down! Pants that were very tight on me just a few weeks ago. Now, why I haven't gone down in jean size, or even underwear is beyond me.
Second, I managed to run on the treadmill for 55mins today!! I never used to manage past 5-10mins! And I was running from 5.0-6.0 in intervals- 5.0 is almost fast for me and my short legs (4' 11", 27.5 inseam) I would have went for longer, but feet were getting sore (I run and workout barefoot since shoes aggravate my plantar fasciitis.
And finally- I entered the Warrior Dash!! I am so excited! I hate running, but the thrill of the obstacles make me want to do it. I haven't done any distance running since leaving the Army in 1999. I am so nervous and excited for the event. I need to start running outside, but more importantly, I need to learn how to breathe better- Any tips- apparently I am what my dentist calls a "mouth breather"
