Here is a dressing I keep on hand all the time. At only 8.8 calories a serving and almost no fat, it's an excellent French dressing. The Xanthum Gum is used to thicken the dressing and is available in good supermarkets or online.

French Dressing (No Fat/No Sugar)

3/4 cup cider vinager
1 cup Unsweetened apple sauce
1/4 cup Ketchup
2 clove garlic(Whole peeled)
1/4 cup Sugar Twin or Splenda
1 tbs dill weed(dry)
1/2 tsp kosher salt
3/8 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Celery Seed
1 can Tomato soup, undiluted
1/2 tsp Xanthan gum

1. Place 1st 9 ingredients in blender and blend for 2-3 minutes. Add condensed tomato soup and Xanthan Gum and blend for 1 minute. Taste and adjust seasoning and sweetness. Better after sitting for a day. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Servings: 54
Yield: 54-2 Tbs Servings
