I just found this in a magazine so I thought I would try it. I love love love black beans, because its a good source of protein for me.

Take 1 can of Bush's Back Beans (315 calories per can) rinse them
1tbsp of olive oil
1tsp ground cumin
1tsp salt (or whatever you like to taste or not at all)

Mix it all up in a bowl

heat oven to 450 degrees

Spread beans out on a cookie sheet so they are thinly spread and not clumped up.
Roast them until they are crunchy, For me it was about 18 minutes although the recipe said 10 minutes.

Then eat! It was a great snack and I could stach some in a baggy and stick them in my purse...

I LOVE black beans too. How about this wonderful breakfast?? Check it out --

.5 cup black beans (soaked, boiled, throw it on a pan for a bit)
.5 cup egg beaters (or 2 whole eggs)
.5 cup mixed veggies (peppers, tomatoes, onions, etc.)
wrap it up in a tortilla wrap, and enjoy your scrambly-omlettey burrito!

I know this might seem like a lot, but this breakfast keeps me energized and powered up for a good long time. It's extremely satisfying.
