I have a bunch of recipes for a new slow cooker that I just bought but the recipes do not list the number of servings so I'm not sure how to accurately enter in the recipes into MFP. Any suggestions?? For example, here is one of my recipes:

2 lbs rump roast
1 packet of Good Seasons Italian Dressing
1 jar of peppercinis

Cook on low all day in slow cooker and serve on hoagie rolls.

I usually split them up into how many people are eating it and if that is too large of a serving I divide it evenly into what I think a serving would be. Like for the roast I might say that a serving is 2oz and say I have an 8oz roast. That would make it 4 servings and so forth. Not that I would have an 8oz roast in this house. lol

Recipes are hard, and there are a lot of methods. In our house, we have me, my husband (who eats more than I do), and our two kids (who are young so they eat about half or less of what I do). So to make it simpler, I divide it into how many servings *I* would eat, if I were the only person eating that recipe. So, for example, if I'm making soup, I'd eat one bowl. If there are 8 bowls of soup in the recipe, I say 8 servings. I don't care about what a serving size "should" be, or anything else. I split it up into how much I would normally, realistically eat. If I need to eat less then to stay in my cal range, I will input a partial serving into my food diary.
