Triglycerides???

So, I know that you all may not be doctors, but I thought I'd throw this question out there. So, I had my Wellness Screening today just b/c I wanted to see how much difference 60 lbs would make. My BP and cholesterol numbers were all in normal to excellent range before, but for the most part, they were even better this time EXCEPT my Triglycerides which were triple what they were when I was fat and a good 40 above optimal. I hadn't eaten anything since last night and I just had water and black coffee. Any ideas why that would be? My total cholesterol is below 160. Is this something i should see a doctor for, or maybe just a fluke? Opinions and facts wanted.

Mine are high as well. They say to eat flax seed and lots of Omega-3 to lower them.0

Have you checked out WebMD? Great source of information for health related issues. I dont recommend if over seeing a doctor if you feel there is a serious problem, but it could help you with some of your questions.0
