Biggest loser

I have been doing level 1 of the 30 day shred for a while and probably should move to level 2. I also do 25 min of cardio after that and later in the day a 1 hour zumba class or wii fit or walk or something. I work out 6-7 days a week. Here's my question, today I did the 30 day shred, took a 20 min break and did the biggest loser last chance workout. I was DEAD. I consider myself in good shape and this killed me. I was shaking and just plain exhausted. Anyone done both like that or was that dumb. I want to change things up and keep getting good results... suggestions?

Nothing wrong with exhaustion as long as you fill the tank back up and rest =)
  • Zim - here's my thing. If I'm not dead after a workout, to me...it didn't count. I was in the military and I need to go into full muscle failure before I think something is working. It's probably not the smartest thing to do, I mean, you can't kill yourself every single time or you will never recover, right? Well, it works for me. It makes me push myself. I always have to do something after 30 day shred because it just doesn't feel like I've done enough. I have recently moved up to Level 2 and it's pretty intense. Move up a level and see how you feel.

Polo is right!!! You can NEVER do too much exercise. Just replenish yourself! I normally do 30DS or Shred It w/kettlebells (about a 25min workout) then I get on the treadmill and do sprints for 60-75 minutes, depending on how much time I have.
  • i figured it was ok, it was just crazy exhausting. I will try level 2 and see how that feels
