Tracking work when activity is set to sedentary....

I have set my activity level to sedentary because I have a muscle disorder that prevents me from being very active. That being said, I DO work in childcare 3-4 hours a day. How would I track that? Childcare isn't in the database and it's not like I'm breaking a sweat all the time I'm there. But I do move around, I'm up and down off the floor, walking around the room to make sure no one is doing something they aren't supposed to do, then there's the cleaning up after snack and at the end of the day. I know it wouldn't be a lot of calories but it is activity that isn't set into my calories by my activity level.

What do you guys think? How should I track that or should I just move it to lightly active (even though I don't really think it's enough to set it to that)?

I would set it to lightly active. Sedentary is not even a bit active.

I would do that to. On the days you don't work just try to stay 100 or so cals under the recommended amount.

I would change your activity level to lightly active. That's where I'm set and I'm a stay at home mom. I'm up and down all day but I do end up spending a lot of time sitting.

I may try moving it back, I had it lightly active at one point.....with my disorder being auto-immune it makes it difficult to lose and I'm getting frustrated.

    Thanks for the quick responses.

If you want to track everything during the day, others have said that the bodybug is the way to go. HRM's aren't really meant for long-term tracking like this.
