Jillian Michael's posted this link on facebook and I just thought it was interesting as most of us have run from fat for years. It basically says fat is good for you, its the carbohydrates and sugar that's bad. What do you think?

I have heard this quite often. I know a good amount of super fit people who's diets are high in fat but they are super lean and muscular. Can't explain this though!

My total belief is a balanced diet is to eat everything in moderation.

I think that's totally accurate. If you delve in, you discover a lot of nutritionists and bodybuilders saying the same thing. Healthful fats are nothing to fear and it's actually difficult to get too much of them. The problem is bad fats, carbs, and processed sugars.

Stuff like olive oil? Rock on.

Eat everything balanced and in moderation. Calories in, Calories out.

Took me awhile to get over the fear of fats. Now I am a huge fan. Avocados, evoo, nuts, seeds, coconut oil....Makes eating so much more pleasurable!

it makes sense considering it gets stored as fat when not used and most eat too many carbohydrates.
