strength training questions

I am trying to get back into strength training, but I have a VERY hard time motivating myself to go to the gym and do it. I think it's so boring and tedious. I always feel out of place because it is mostly sweaty grunting men. If I have a kickboxing class, or any other class for that matter, I'm super excited to go and have a great time. They do offer weight training classes at my gym but they are during the day when I work. Do you have any tips on making weight training more fun and enjoyable?? How often should I be doing it? THanks!

    Hi-

    I usually do strength training every other day. I do the elliptical a couple times a week and my legs are very muscular so I only strength train the arms and back....plus some ab work but it's every other day. I normally do it at lunch or at home with a ten minute one and my husband will do it with me. Good luck!
