Love this article because the author states twice that the best method to losing weight is the old fashioned way - reduce calories and exercise more....

EXACTLY what I'm thinking too! I LOVE that it's completely free, cuz I'm like the most "frugal" (OK, CHEAP!) person that you'll ever meet!

Does elbow grease cost as much as gasoline?

Well, my veggies are costing a ton of money ($20 for an eggplant, two summer squashes, a 1lb bag of cherry tomatoes, two onions, a 8oz box of whole mushrooms, and three bags of lettuce mixes), but I will eat every last scrap. That, and my gym membership here at work at $15 a month, I'd say I was getting off pretty cheaply. I knew a long time ago that there is no such thing as 'instant weight loss' or miracle fixes. Caveat emptor indeed.
