Oh my! I knew it was a choice I was making. I did that 2 days in a row! UGH! I felt horrible like I had a rock in my gut this morning from the pepperoni pizza.

Is it true that it takes about two days to gain a pound and see the gain?

So today I am eating very very lite if not fasting.

I kind of went over yesterday and the day before too :grumble: But I jumped back on today and refuse to let it bother me too much...Jump back on and keep going. Don't let it get to ya. Everyone slips now and then. Just don't let it frustrate ya. You can work that off before ya know it...:flowerforyou:

don't fast!! You have to just get back on the horse and eat your cals. If you give your body too little it will just think you're going to starve it. Think of your nutrition in terms of 3-4 hour increments. That's how your body sees it. If you fast today, your system won't be thinking "yeah, it's because we had too much pizza yesterday...."

We all have those days. Just get back on the horse today

I read something VERY logical that got my attention, I hope it helps you as well.
Lets say that last night you forgot to brush your teeth.
Well Hell, Now your entire tooth care is out the window, I will just stop brushing my teeth completly, Heck while I am at it I think I will also stop showering and taking baths. As for cloths might as well never wash them either. because I forgot to brush my teeth I will NEVER RECOVER!!!
If that sounds silly to you AND IT SHOULD!!!
Then Why oh WHY do we beat ourselves up the way that we do when me eat the wrong thing or skip a workout. Think we are damaged forever because of eating that wrong food and quit eating right all together?
Not that one day of eating something wrong is going to make that much difference, and YES it WILL if you start eating that pizza day in and day out because you ate it the ONE TIME GOD FORBID YOU ARE DAMAGED NOW!!! :frown:
Well dearest, you are not. Get RIGHT back in there and start again fresh and new each day.
It sounds like your tummy is telling you how bad IT feels after the pizza.
    Just do better next time.
WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! :flowerforyou:

This is really good! Never thought of the over-board thinking and what nonsense it means. I'll remember this.

    You are welcome IAM
I used to think just as ill-logical as this myself.
I am no saint here people. (NO COMMENTS NEEDED FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY!)  When it comes to logic I would rather leave it alone You KNOW Logic can KILL
But when I read this it was like I was hit in the face with the logic of it all. I got it then... and it was one of those changing moments for me. We all have them. this was one of mine... Oh that and seeing a 4th of July picture taken of me in 2002. Wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:noway:  :noway:
