I Cant Do Push Ups!

Now when I say this I dont mean that I am not in good enough shape for them. I mean that I physically Can Not do them! I strained some of the tendons that run down my thumb and through my wrist. Thanks to this I cant put much weight on my wrist...Ive tried....It hurts! Problem is that P90X and 30DS and lots of other programs invovle push ups.....what can I do in lue of them or is there a DVD that has no push ups???

    I have a similar problem with the arthritis in my hands/wrists as well as a cyst in one of them. I do push ups on the wall. It's no where near the same but you can move your feet closer to or further from the wall to increase some of the intensity.

    since push ups are for the chest why dont you do the chest flies in place of them? Can you hold a dumbbell? We have to do them anyway (i'm still in level 1)
