Okay. So the one thing about community sites like these is there tends to be some acronyms. Let's throw out some acronyms that are commonly used around here.... and maybe a few that aren't.

    HRM= heart rate monitor
    SW= starting weight
    GW= goal weight

    "Bump" is simply someone posting in order for the thread to show up in their "my topics" list, or simply posting something so the topic moves up to the top of the thread list for more people to see... either way.
