I've been using MFP for nearly a year. I joined this site on 5/10/10. So far I've lost 95.8 pounds.

This is my before pic taken on 4/4/10. I weighed about 297 lbs.

This one if from 7/27/10. I weighed 255.2 lbs at that point.

And this final picture is from today. I've lost 95.8 lbs and am down to 201.2.

My journey hasn't been easy and there's been times that I've wanted to quit but I have to do it for myself as well as my family. I never want to go back to weighing 300 lbs again. My highest weight was 305 when I was pregnant with my daughter.

I haven't had any sort of weight loss surgery or done any fad dieting. I'm eating healthy and exercising regularly. And I don't feel like I'm missing out on the foods I love most days because I love the challenge of making healthier versions of them.

By this time next year I want to have reached my goal weight of 130 lbs or be really close to it. And I want to weigh less than 200 in the next week or 2.

Thank you :) I briefly considered it because of the medical problems I had but I decided it was the best choice for me to do it the "old fashioned way". I had c-sections when I had both my kids and I didn't want to be cut into again. I understand that these procedures have their place but I wanted to do it on my own.

Yeah I do feel pretty good now. Much better than what I did. And the scale isn't the only way I measure my progress. I'm doing fitness classes now (something I've never done before if you don't count gym class). There are so many physical things I can do now that I've never been able to do before.

Great job, your such an inspiration. Did you lose those 96 pounds in 10 months? I still have 108 to go, I have lost 47 pounds since Nov.26th, 2010 and I can't believe I have come this far...of course I owe it to everyone on MFP, well, I owe some credit to myself...lol. It's such a wonderful feeling to be losing weight and feeling so much better, it's worth the small sacrafices everyday. I can't wait to get to my goal. Keep up the good work, I'm right behind you! :)

Technically my starting weight of 297 is from 3/27/10. I didn't have a working scale when I joined Mfp so I used the weight from when I left the hospital after having my daughter as my start weight. You are doing great too. Keep up the good work!
