The reason I got fat in the first place was because I thought I was lazy and still do at times. I still question what really is my activity level in my settings. I know my life is hectic most days but some days I need to rest cause Im worn out. I know I lost alot of weight so far but sometimes I feel as if Im not working hard enough. Again the lazy part comes to mind.

The day Im at work I hardly get to sit down, always moving and when I get home Im still moving till I go to bed. Days off Im still moving . I've been wondering because I only set my activity level to "active", I wonder Im I eating enough at times. But when that scales either goes up or stays the same its like I have a l little melt down and says F**k it all. Its like I say to myself " Ive work hard this week, I've work out 5 times this week, made sure I ate all or most of my calories this week' Why havnt I lost anything? Im starting to think Im burning more calories than I think and Im really starving myself.

Does anyone out there adjust there activity level from day to day?

up your calories intake by 200 or 300 calories for a week and see what happens.

Nope. I set it to the lowest setting (I think it was "sedentary" ?) and left it there. There's no need to keep adjusting it
  • you lost over 100 pounds so you know you are doing something really right!!!!
do you feel starving? I notice on more active days I'm a bit more hungry so I grab an extra apple. Make sure you drink a lot of water also. I notice when i don't keep hydrated, I feel tired as well.
Keep on keeping on though...inspiration to me!!

For awhile there I wore my little clip-on pedometer all day long, and found out that just "normal daily activities" at work and home added another TWO MILES to the amount I was moving on an average. So in that sense I do have some idea of my activity level. I'm constantly up and down the stairs at home or striding down a very long hall to the mail room or bathroom and back at work. I just up to get stuff from the printer or file room multiple times a day. I get bored and go to the opposite end of my office suite to talk to coworkers or gaze at the mountains. I walk into the snack room to glare at the chips and chocolate and grab a bottle of water, etc.

But I still set my activity level on MFP as "sedentary".

I don't think you are to change it unless you really have changed your activity level, If you are at active but are exceptionally lazy one week then no big deal. IT is meaning on average what is you activity level. But as an experiment I would change it up to the activity level one up for a week and see what that does for you or even change it down to sedentary for one week and see what that does for you. How does this make you feel and how has it effected your loss.

Like soneelse said use a pedometer to gauge how active you are and you have lost all the easy fat plus---you only have the stubborn part left, it won't be easy.
