I am in need of some advice... Lately I have been having alot of trouble consuming all of my calories since I have started my weightloss on February 11, I have been doing well, eating as clean as possible and have lost 16lbs so far.
I recently purchased my elliptical and incorporated my exercise in as well... I have been eating really healthy and just can't seem to get enough calories without stuffing my face all day long.
Just the other day I felt the effects of not eating enough cals and felt sick and thought I was going to pass out!
According to my Doctor and MFP I should be consuming 1300-1350 cals a day, I know im supposed to be consuming no less then 1200 but most days I can only get 1000 if that, not purposley but that's all I can eat now days with eating healthy.... So that being said if anyone has any advice about when the exercise and how you get all you cals and burned cals in I would be so grateful for any advice you may have!!
Thank you so much!!

Try nuts, or cheese. Just a little bit will help with your cals alot without requiring you to eat alot of them0

nuts and almonds are good to munch on.. tbsp of peanut butter is good to fill extra cals also!0

Avocados are good too.0

Add some calorie dense foods to your diet, or change what you eat to more calorie dense...ie: 2% milk instead of skim, whole eggs, higher fat cheese, olive oil, almonds, etc. I can add 500 calories to my diet and not eat any more in quantity than I did at the lower intake.0

Eat little & often, choose lean proteins such as chicken, turkey, add avacado, cheese, heathy salad dressings such as olive oil..these quickly bump your calories up. Also protein shakes are good.0

Try some brown rice or lentils. Both have a decent amount of calories and are good for you. A banana also has about 100 calories and is a great source of potassium.0

I know the feeling, somedays I have to eat 3000+ cals. It's hard work getting all that in with healthy foods. I try and eat something healthy every 90 to 120 minutes.
My Food Diary is public, if you want to look at it to see what I eat.0 -

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I'll be heading to the grocery store today :drinker:0

Try raw almonds though, my Smokehouse almonds are high in sodium. Walmart has Emerald brand raw almonds in 100 calorie packs. Fresh & Easy sells them of course too. Also, granola is very calorie dense. Good luck, I have the same issue.0
