Hey there,
I just joined today and already like the site alot. For one thing, it moves quickly when you add things - much better than most I have tried. Also, it seems to have a good database.

Who is going to try setting up a week's worth of meals in advance? (I assume this is possible.) Want to try to help motivate each other to do this? This has been a technique that worked for me in the past - at least the few times I tried it. It takes time though and that's what the hang up has been. I need some life-hacks - geek talk for quicker ways to do things that just need doing and that we all do (like paying bills, etc.).

Wanna share tips?

I plan a week ahead too. If you're going to plan a lot of the same meals "recent" speeds it up. Or if you use a lot of the same things, it will keep them at the top, so you dont have to search.
Not sure if that's what you meant.

I always plan a day in advance, including my exercise. I think it helps me get motivated day to day. Obviously I have to edit things in and out, but overall, I stick to the plan, and it works! I love seeing the numbers in advance.

I do a few days at a time. I almost always know what I'm going to eat every day so it makes things go quicker. I've always done grocery shopping for about 2 weeks at a time so now when I make my list, I add in recipes under my foods. Its helpful having the more complicated meals programed in as a menu! I also usually bring the same thing for lunch Mon-Thurs so I can program that in ahead of time. Same for breakfast. I find that when I program the whole day in ahead of time, I know where I have a little extra wiggle room for snacks or working out a bit less if I'm feeling tired.

My boyfriend is using the program as well but he likes to program the food in right after he eats. He said it helps him acknowledge what he's eating and be aware of how much. Also a helpful way to go!

    Hope that's helpful.
