3 months ago I decided it was time to shape up while I was on Christmas break for work. After two weeks I came down with bronchitis and all my good intentions went away. A month ago I started up again because I was annoyed with a nurse who gave me a smart aleck response about my my weekly activity levels when I went to get a check up. First 3 weeks I did great getting back into a good fitness routine and began cooking more meals at home. My dietician from when I was in high school kept coming to mind though telling me how people tend to eat healthier when they keep a calorie diary. So last week I started my records on here and I find it is making me more creative about making my meals better.

So far I am 4 weeks into my healthier lifestyle and 5 lbs down. Hopefully logging my stats will keep me accountable to keep up the momentum.

Welcome and good luck. I have been here about 1 month, and LOVE it. If you need a friend, feel free to friend me. I think supportive friends make all the difference.

I find the mindless popping things into my mouth habit has altogether ceased. I love the accountability on here and support is great.
