P90X Calorie Burn

Hey there P90Xers. I'm in Phase 3 and on day 64 and just need a bit of clarification. What is your average burn for your workouts? I'm on the classic program and with my asthma allergy meds I don't think my HRM is accurate in what calories I burn, because the meds raise my HR. What is your average burn per workout?

Oh I never thought about that, I always use my inhaler before I workout. I have exercise induced asthma. Do inhalers raise your HR? Thats interesting... darn, I thought I was burning so much =/0

On my bad days I have to take Singular, a decongestant, Nasonex, and my inhaler. On the good days I'll check my HR before I exercise and it's usually kinds high.0

According to the beach body site it's anywhere between 300-900 per workout depending on which exercise and your intensity level. I usually put in about 400 calories on the hard cardio days like plyo and kenpo and about 300 on strength days.
The nutrition guide says to add in 600 calories from the exercises but I usually doubt that I'm burning that many from one workout.0 -
For me it depends...anywhere from 300 calories on strength days up to 600+ on Plyo days.0

Ditto, my calorie burn is similar based on my HRM, but I also am almost at my goal weight and have been doing fairly intense exercise for over a year now. Your calorie burn would probably be higher if you are carrying extra weight and just getting back into exercise. I would also think your heart rate is your heart rate with no regard to your health condition, I wouldn't think it would change it. I have a very very low resting heart rate, so it is harder for me to get into my zone without working harder. I wish one of the resident "experts" would show up on the subject.0
