I recently decided to stop logging my exercise cals and just made a note of the exercise I'd done each day because I felt like I was becoming a little obsessed by the whole 'calories earned thing'. Since making that decision I have pretty much been able to stay within my daily calorie limit, feeling little or no hunger - yay for me.

Today, for the first time in a while I got the good old HRM back out and logged my exercise cals and wouldn't you know it, for some unknown reason I have had had to fight tooth and nail to stay within my calorie goal - hungry, hungry, hungry. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Why? Why? Why?

Psh, psychological! ;) I've never gone hungry on my 1,200 levels, if I do it's because I ate some type of junk in the day :) If it stresses you out less, stay without an HRM. I find a certain peace in numbers though. I always just want to know I'm not going over, and if I've been good enough for a 1/2 cup of ice cream ;)
