Hey MFP peeps.
I've been using the site for almost a month now, and I am making progress, slowly but surely
I have to say, the site itself is SO useful for someone like me who sometimes just does not realize how many calories are in a certain food or drink.
For example, my first day using the site, i had a corona extra, and when i entered it into my food diary and saw it was 300 calories, i realized then and there, it was definitely not worth it. Actually, i realized most alchohol is just a waste of calories.
Another thing i noticed is how many calories are in energy drinks (about 300)! Again, i could have looked on the can, but the thought never occured to me, I defnitely drink black coffee instead when I need a "pick me up" now.
So i guess I just wanted to say hi, and say that i love how supportive the people are on this site! I read posts on the forum daily and I've never seen any negative comments.
It appears to be a really great community!
