I went today for my wedding dress fitting; I picked out my dress last summer and have gained over 15pounds sense then. I had to exchange it for a bigger size (thank god they had the bigger size in the store) but anyways it really motivated me today. I very sad about it but at the same time as i looked at my self in the mirror it kinda made me want to work harder. We will see!

Welcome Katie. I'm almost afraid to tell you that you WILL lose weight here, because when you DO, your "bigger size" wedding dress will end up being way too big!
I've had the hardest time losing weight for years, and then I came to this site, and in just under 3 months have gone from an 18 to a 12. Maybe you shouldn't have traded in your dress for a bigger one!

    When is your wedding?
  • SImiliar Issue here:
Bought my dress monthes ago, tried it on two weeks ago, was very tight (the semestress said about 5 pounds too tight), although my wedding is a while away I'd like to lose 5lbs by the second of August for my twin sisters wedding (I'm the maid of honour).
  • We should have a section jsut for bridal concerns...hahaha...my mom is on here and is worried about fitting into her mother-of-the-bride dress
