Hi, my name is Elise and I am a SAHM of two girls.
Since giving birth three years ago my body has not been my own. I am 34 and feel like I am well much older. Changes are happening that I am really not happy about. So I am here to try and stay on track with my weight loss. I have tried to diet but I hate to diet. I try to work out but something seems to always stop me.....mostly that would be me. I have 30 lbs. to lose I think. I won't get on a scale yet but the last time I did I was 160....WOW...not sure how that happen. I was doing pretty well at staying at around 150. So I am looking forward to staying on track and getting to know some of you.

Here is to a better year for all!!

    Welcome, and good luck:flowerforyou:
  • We too are new, our names are Walt and Donna. We quit smoking last January and gained a "few " pounds lol, in June we decided to do something about the extra pounds and try and change our eating habits ," not diet." Diet is a bad word ,it implys that someday it will be over and you can get back to the way you were. Lets hope I never get back to the way I was. We set our goal at 8lbs a month, we have reduced our calories and increased our excersize and our loss is right on target. we got tired of trying to remember what we ate and had heard of people having a food journal, so we went on line and found this great site. It should be called "Making it Fun to Diet" I look forward to our daily log on and reading what you all have to say. Good luck to All. See you tomorrow

Welcome! This is a good place to be. I hope the site helps. I believe that I'm eating and working out a lot more faithfully just because of the reporting and accountability this site offers. Blessings on your journey!
