I must say I wonder why I have not been doing this the whole time. When it comes to food Less is More.

I am pretty much eating half the calories I used to eat and I feel full. I got the energy I need during the day and I am not totally exhausted by end of the day.

I joined MFP exactly a month ago Feb 6th 2011 and have been logging my food atleast once or twice a week only when I felt like I may have taken in more calories. This seems to have worked out pretty well. Infact I am able to work without the journal on some days where I know exactly how many calories I am taking in and rest of the math is almost second nature. I think this is on the way of becoming a lifestyle.

.I joined a gym in December 2010 and have been pretty much working with a personal trainer 2 times a week. I did very little cardio in the first few weeks, mostly due to the soreness after the strength training sessions. Lost about 2lbs in the course of 2 months. Then I hit a plateau in the beginning of February.Added a lot of cardio to my routine since then, paying more attention to my nutrition and I am slowly getting a hang of it.

3 lbs lost since Feb 6 2011 although I originally aimed for 5 lbs.My body fat has dropped from 32% to less than 30%. I have lost atleast an inch from my waist , close to 2 inches from my hips and get this , an inch off my arms. My arms have always given me the toughest time and all that I have been doing, seems to be working.

So my current fitness routine is 4-5 days of cardio (mixed with HIIT) and 2-3 days of strength training
My nutrition has been watching what I eat. Splitting up my eatable calories for the day into 5 meals , planning my meals a day ahead.

Here are my new goals, which I hope to check back in a month from now.

Weight: 142 lbs(although I dont care so much about this)
Waist , Hips, Arms: Less by an inch
Body Fat: 27-28%

Wish me Luck!
