This is a great low calorie recipe for a slow-cooker side dish! I decreased the amount of sugar, salt, and butter to make it a little healthier.
Red cabbage with apples
Cook Time: 9 hours
About 10 servings
Ingredients:
• 1 large head of red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced
• 2 medium onions, coarsely chopped, about 1 cup

• 2 cups hot water
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 2/3 cup cider vinegar
• 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
