40lbs down...only 5lb to go!

When I had my daughter in October I felt huge, I had put on 3.5stones (45lbs) and that the weight gain AFTER she came out! My confidence had taken a serious nose dive and I looked at tiny clothes in my wardrobe promising myself that if I ever fit into any of those tiny clothes again I would never ever complain about being fat (used to do that a lot when I was a size 10 UK!)
Fast forward five months and here I am with the last 5lbs left to lose of my baby weight! I can't believe I have nearly done it! I can fit in almost all of my "tiny" clothes which is a great feeling and my confidence is back. I feel like my old self again.
I think I will keep going to see if I can get to my ideal weight (another 14lbs or so past my goal weight) and just tone up a little more.
To all you new mums out there. You can really do it!

Congrats! I'm trying to lose pregnany weight and I'm finding it very hard I know I need to focus more on my diet. I was doing good working out, but I injured my back and that has derailed my exercise, which in turn has got me a little depressed and I've been overeating. I am really going to try to focus on my eating habits again and hopefully my back will be healed soon so I can start working out again. I really miss it.0

Great job. I am still carrying around post-baby fat 13 years later. Hoping I can finally get serious and lose about 40 pounds.

Congrats on almost hitting your goal. I can't wait to be there; I am halfway now at 27 lbs. You are an inspiration to us.0
