Bought a new treadmill

So I am an elliptical kind of girl and I have one of them but I wanted a challenge so I bought a treadmill that is automatically inclined at 10% and goes to up 20%, not inbetween, just those 2 settings which I liked as a challenge. I am finding it really is a challenge! I love it but I am finding it hard to even to do a speed of 3.2 at 20% incline. Do you guys think that doing a lower speed at a higher incline is still beneficial? I also mix it up and do the 10% incline when I feel I should be working at a faster speed..

Mine only goes up to 10% and I find it hard to walk 3.2 at that!! I'm not sure what the "rule of thumb" is here, but I know most importantly don't hurt your back!!! When mine is on the preset workout, at 10% incline, it only has be going a speed of 2.8. So, I don't know if faster is better for you. I love the incline, I feel a huge difference when I have it even on 5% as opposed to no incline at all!0

Hey thanks for the response! I feel better knowing that a higher incline with speed isn't just challenging for me! I am noticing a differenrce in my legs in just week- they seem stronger as I can go faster at a lower incline that I was able to prior.. =0)0
