Sugar - MFP low #'s

Hi all,

I'm new around here and thought I'd start off with an (easy?) question.

After inputting my data, the MFP has calculated that I should take in approximately 1200 calories per day. Now... I'm extremely active at the gym most days of the week (although relatively sedentary during the day), so already I feel that number is a tad low...

In any case, the MFP calculation allows me 24 g of sugar per day - so, as soon as I have an apple and some berries - I'm over it. Any suggestions for those who have been following the plan?

Thanks for the advice!

I actually took that column off my report, as I generally don't worry about "natural" sugars (like apple, banana, or berries); another option is to go into the settings and customize that number to your own personal needs.

Even though mine is no longer showing, I can still run the "Printable Full Report" at the bottom of my diary and it tracks that information if I want to check on it every now and then.

    Good luck, and welcome!
