When do you eat your calories?

I am supposed to eat 1640 calories per day before exercise. I do 33 minutes or more cardio 4 days a week and weight training 3-4 (usually on the same day as the cardio) and that can rack up an addition 400-600 calories.
The last several days I am finding that by the time dinner comes I am supposed to eat 1000 calories. For example, my Breakfast & Lunch and snack of carrots has amounted to 639 calories AND I still plan on going to the gym. My dinner is usually at 5pm. Around 7pm I will sometimes have air popped popcorn with hot sauce, carrots or a piece of fruit if I notice my net calories are below 1200 still. Then I will not eat anything else by the time 8pm comes along.
Do you guys notice a problem if a single meal is too heavily weighted on calories? Should I increase my Breakfast or my Lunch?

I suggest trying to break your calories up evenly during the day by eating lots of snack-sized portions (300-400 calories of good quality foods; i.e. NOT packaged 100 cal packs, etc) rather than eating "meals." I don't think it really matters WHEN your "big" meal is, but I find if I eat a hearty breakfast I'll be less full during the day.0

Hi, I eat every 2.5 hours starting at 0730 and ending at 2000 - more protein, less carbs as the day goes on. You don't have to exercise AFTER eating, and you DON'T have to eat all your exercise cals. Due to exercise I have over 1800 left today and it's 10pm - not a chance I'll eat any more!

ps - don't believe everything people say on here (including me) without cross-checking on google or somewhere!0
