Hey everyone,
I am seriously thinking about getting the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. My question is for anyone that uses it or has used it, what did you think of the program? How hard was it at first? any advice you could give me before I start it? I usually just go walking around in my neighborhood. (haven't recently tho) but I know I need to do something else if I am gonna get this weight off...
anything you could tell me would be helpful!
Thanks!
Katherine

I am 177lbs, very unfit but was starting to do cardio for about a month before I tried the shred. The shred was hard....a killer for me, but in a good way!!! Each day I found I was getting stronger and faster. By the end of the shred I was doing most of the advanced moves rather than the beginner moves.
End of shred, lost 12.5inches. In 30 days? I'm not going to complain about that! Best thing of all...I now LOVE exercise, I hate not doing it every day, I am now starting Jillian Michaels 30 day slimdown (on day 2) I am also increasing my cardio so I am hoping by the end of this month I see some good lb loss as well as inches!
Good luck with it, go for it!!! xxx0 -
I would most definitely recommend the shred. It is quite difficult at first, but the best thing to keep telling yourself is that you need to get through the pain first before it can feel good.
The 3-2-1 system she has (strength, cardio, abs) is fantastic. It really helps raise your heart rate and get you toned in a good way. Her warm ups, in my opinion, are done the correct way-doing movement before any static movements.
If I were you, I'd buy this DVD. It's less than $10 on amazon and places like Walmart. If you haven't been doing any intense cardio other than walking, then this DVD isn't going to be easy.
But hey, take your breaks as you need them, and the more you do it, the less breaks you'll need. I've had the DVD for a long time, and just recently decided to do the actual "30 day" program. I'm on day 3, and I already feel better/can get through more of the workout than I could on day 1.
Good luck! There's tons of support for this DVD on this site. It's an excellent investment and people see really good results0 -
Thanks! I ordered it off the walmart site an am waiting on it to arrive!0
