So I downloaded the app a year ago and had ok success but stopped using it for a long period. This time i have decided to try harder and use the community feature something I didn't do last time. Hopefully this will keep me on track reading other peoples successes and maybe get support from other members. Started my journey this time on 7th Jan 2011 and have lost 24lbs so far still a good bit to go but I feel stronger this time around.

Welcome back to MFP! I did the same thing as you, when I used it a couple of years ago I did fine, but didn't stick with it. I think it had to do a lot with not using the forums or making MFP friends. At that time, I was only worried about counting calories and not realizing that we also need emotional support. It's so much easier to talk about things and get feedback here, then it is sometimes to get it from people at home.0
