30 DS Week one results!

Okay, so I have been on MFP every day for 2 weeks. I lost 8 lbs in the first week. Second week I started 30 day shred and at the end of the week I was up 2 lbs. That got me really fired up, not gonna lie. Luckily, I took measurements when I started the shred 8 days ago. I decided to see if this was working. I thought they (my measurements) might be changing because my clothes are fitting better and I just feel a lot stronger in general. So I retook my measurements because I needed some motivation to keep me from being glued to the scale this week. I am quite pleased with the results after just 8 days. I never thought I would be one of those people with results to share. I hope I can continue to add an inch or two in the next 22 days.
Being a full-time working on my last and toughest semester in college, working part-time, and job searching for a career type job I'm really busy and don't have much time to work out. I've also NEVER been the type of person to workout in general and I really enjoy this. This 20 minutes a day thing is my type of workout and it brings results fast! Now all I have to say is hopefully my body starts losing those lbs soon..I can't just keep losing inches and still be 218 forever!
Here are the results!:

Arm: 14 in
13 in
Chest: 46.5 in
44.25 in (of course that'd be the first to go!)
Waist: 38 in
37.5 ...meh..
Belly button: 45 in
44 in
Hips: 45 in
44.5 in
Thigh: 25 in
24 in
6.25 in total in one week. Pretty sweet.

It's a Jillian Michaels dvd with 3 levels- you're supposed to do 1 level for 10 days and then move to the next. But of course, the pace at which you go through the levels is totally up to you. It's a great dvd and people have seen some serious results with it!

Great job!! I love the 30 DS too! I'm on day 7 and although I haven't seen a drastic loss in lbs. yet, I have noticed a difference in my endurance and the way my clothes are fitting. Keep shredding! :flowerforyou:0

I wish I had heavier weights to work with but all I have are my mom's 2 lb weights she uses for walking. When I get some extra cash, I'm going to buy some heavier ones. I only use 3 lb weights, but it seems to be working out. I was really weak to begin with though...lol.0 -
