How would you suggest doing this?

Okay so maybe this is the right place to post this. I would assume so.
My goal is to be about 160-165 by my beach trip in May, I've got two months to do so. I know it is possible, 10lbs a months it's possible.
I just was wondering how would you go about it?
I've been doing the obvious, eating right, lots of water, and working out everyday. Anything extra you would add so there is no plateu? (sp?) Maybe a silly question, but I love hearing what other have done when they've lost 20lbs in two months.
I just need some motivation and to know it is possible. I get down on myself sometimes about maybe not doing it. This site has been wonderful about bringing my spirits back up and keeping me going! Joining this sites been the best things I've done!

Just keep eating right and exercising and you'll get there, possibly in 2 months. Focus on the inches rather than the weight itself. After all- its inches that count in that bathing suit! :laugh:0

Your signature states you want to lose 20lbs THIS month? 10lbs by March 15th... and another 10lbs off by April 1st... I do not think that is that realistic, unless you starve yourself and work out for many hours a day!
Not to be a downer. I have in the past lost a lot of weight (100+lbs) working out (running and weights) 2 hours a day and keeping to a 1200cal/day diet...however it didn't come off that quick! (gained just over half back slowly after maintaining for 2 years)
Good luck... sorry I am not any help! If you want some support for a healthy way to lose, I am there for you!0 -
unfortunately I have not updated my signature in a while. I've adjusted my goals, those were for a challenge I was in, but I've changed them due to realizing that i can't do that.
I'm leaving May 12. So on March 12 it's exactly two months. That makes 10lbs each month, this I know is possible as it has happened before.
I guess I need to fix that.0 -
Pfewf! I am glad you aren't trying for 40lbs in that time frame as your sig stated!! That is A LOT! for less that 2 months!
Good luck, and wishing you all the best!!0
