Soreness is apart of any workout regimen. There have been times when I couldn't lift my arms up without going ouch. As longs as you've haven't pulled a muscle you should be ok in a couple of days.0

You are using muscles that you have not used in a long time. Aqua exercises are the best! Great workout without injury. Make sure you stretch and it's ok to take Tylenol. Don't quit because of the soreness!!0

If it was your first one, it's normal to be a little sore. You should do some light exercise to keep the muscles from seizing up (causing more pain), stretching, etc. and you'll find over time that it goes away. Your muscles are learning to be used again.... I can tell you after 8 months of weekly Aquafit classes that I'm no longer in pain and not cramping up in the pool either. I find my (much fitter) swim partner who doesn't come with me every week to still get major cramps in the pool sometimes....take it easy, but don't do nothing for the next few days, you'll regret it.
If it's more than a little sore (i.e. can't get out of bed), you may have overdone it.0 -
Have a nice warm bath , and drink plenty of water you will be fine!0
